Alak (board game)[edit]

Shouldn't this page be at Alak? Should we use parentheses when there's no ambiguity? If someone types in 'Alak', they out to come here, no?

If there's no disagreement, I'll move it. --Spikey 22:39, 6 Feb 2004 (UTC)

I moved it. [[User:Smyth|– Smyth\talk]] 01:28, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Shouldn't there be some mention of the board size? -starwed

I found this on the on the network alak server page: "The board may range from 7 to 26 in size." Should that be considered part of the official rules or not? Frustratingly every other resource I could find on Alak uses this article as a reference. :)

Zillions of games thinks it draws above 20 or 22 fields

Has anyone actually ever played this game? It seems more of a theoretical novelty to me.--ZincBelief (talk) 10:52, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with ZincBelief. I played about 50 games (games last a couple minutes), just to see what it's like. It is playable but I didn't find any strategy, so it isn't very interesting. Other people programmed the game so I guess they disagree. As for board size, it's whatever you want to try. - Alan Baljeu —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.254.164.42 (talk) 22:58, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
