Ikea into Hotel venture with Marriott International[edit]

This news have been recently reported so I suggest adding this information under other venture section

Ikea have a joint venture with Marriott International to open a new hotel line under the name Moxy which is a 3 star hotel

The hotels won't use IKEA furniture or its designers, but Inter IKEA devised what it calls novel construction techniques to trim construction costs. Many rooms will be prefabricated and then assembled like IKEA furniture, a modular type of construction that is new for Marriott. The first hotel, in Milan, is supposed to open in 2014.

Dutch or Swedish?[edit]

Is IKEA Dutch or Swedish?

I'd argue it's Swedish. An IP address editor begs to differ, saying it's Dutch.

I'm pretty sure it counts as Swedish. That's what the article has said for a long time. References seem to say it is. It was founded by Swedish people in Sweden. Its first stores were in Sweden. They serve Swedish food. All their products have Swedish names.

There's only a couple of things that could make it Dutch. The first is that their headquarters is in the Netherlands, which is the only reason the IP gave, though I would argue that this doesn't mean a thing, as other businesses have HQs in different places to their nationality. Also, the full company name is Inter IKEA Systems B.V., and I think "BV" is a Dutch incorporation type.

Perhaps it counts as Swedish-Dutch? Strugglehouse (talk) 17:47, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Bare Link Without Title[edit]

I'm new to editing and I can't find any documentation on this topic. The "europeangreens" [246] bare link has no title so I can't update the citation. It's currently a dead link so I went far back using the Way Back Machine. What is the course of action in this case? Delete the content entirely, put the very old title, or leave the bare link incomplete? Thank you in advance.

Why is Blåhaj mentioned but not djungelskog?[edit]

This is quite disappointing. 2A00:A041:1B41:E200:813E:E4D8:3DE4:E52E (talk) 07:39, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
