Hi, welcome to Wikipedia.

To avoid confusion, it might be best to state on the article's talk page that you are the author of the material to prevent people suspecting copyright abuse. For example, see talk:Lexden.

If you have any questions, see the help pages or add a question to the village pump.

Thank you Angela. I will do so from now on. If anyone thinks that the Secret of La Salette is copyrighted material, let them remember that it was revealed in 1858, and if one is a good-upstanding Catholic and believes in everything the Pope says, then he or she will agree that the words of the Virgin Mary are not copyrighted. Well, I guess that protects me, doesn't it?

The material at La Salette appears to be not written by you, but copied from the New Advent Encyclopedia, which appears also to claim copyright. You may want to rewrite this in your own words: we should have an article on La Salette, but we can't use others' copyrighted text without permission here. -- Someone else 18:38, 17 Aug 2003 (UTC)

You are right about the reference to New Advent. On my webpage I specifically state that. As for the article, take a look at Our Lady of La Salette and see if it meets your approval.

As long as they are your words, rather than New Advent's, they're fine - you'd know this better than I. I'm not sure we need two articles, so a redirect at La Salette to Our Lady of La Salette (or the reverse) might be appropriate. -- Someone else 19:45, 17 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Your article title Brazilian and Portuguese varieties is a little obscure. Would it not be better moved to a title containing the word 'language'? ²¹² 14:56, 18 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Cheers! I'm impressed with your article on Portuguese varieties. However, I cannot agree with some bold statements inserted there. Please, see my comments in the Talkpage of that page. Marco Neves

I have changed the Brazilian and Portuguese varieties to a different article entitled Brazilian and European Portuguese. I think the name is more logical and better for searching. User: portcult

Where is that article?

To avoid any suspicion of copyright infringement, I am the writer of this article and of the article on the WWW, [1] which I adapted. Both are my own material.

To avoid confusion, don't move articles without making a redirect in the old ones. There is an automatic way of moving articles, just look for the link. This is about the Brazilian and European Portuguese page.

Just a tip for you, you can sign your name using three tildes (~~~). Using four will display your user name and the date. Angela 22:44, 18 Aug 2003 (UTC)

I have redirected Differences between Brazilian and European Portuguese dialects to Differences between Brazilian and European Portuguese varieties. Dialects is not used in modern linguistics for this situaton. Portcult 11:39, 19 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Hi, Portcult! I've inserted some comments in Talk:Galician and Talk:Differences between Brazilian and European Portuguese varieties. Cheers to you! :) User:Marco Neves

Greetings. I have listed Image:Narrow lanes 2.jpg on Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion because it has no source or licensing information, and it's not listed in any articles. If you would like this image to be kept, please add source and licensing information, and include it in an article. If you need any help with this, just ask me. Thanks! – Quadell (talk) (sleuth) 23:40, Mar 8, 2005 (UTC)

==World Citizen userbox, {{User:1ne/Userboxes/User world}}==[edit]

Hi, I noticed the message saying you're a World Citizen, I would like to invite you to add {{User:1ne/Userboxes/User world}} to your user page if you wish to proclaim it in a more effective way, and this template will also add you automatically to the Wikipedians with World Citizenship category. :) --Mistress Selina Kyle 00:01, 18 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Our Lady of Fatima[edit]

I see your website at http://www.portcult.com/FAT.12.NEWSPAPER.2.htm has been cited on the Fatima pages as support for the statement that a photographer named Juda Ruah was present at Fatima in 1917 and that he reported that he did not see the actions of the sun that day. I would like to give you this opportunity to cite your source. Please also cite your source for your statement that Avelino de Almeida was a Catholic, and whether you consider it relevant that he was a known atheist at the time he wrote his articles on Fatima. Thank you. pat8722 14:06, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Time for Deletion[edit]

The referenced website has been out of commission for over 4 years now. How to delete? Not sure about Wikipedia policy. The "speedy deletion" policy doesn't seem to cover the situation. The page really should be deleted, though. JeffTracy (talk) 11:04, 17 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
