Untitled[edit]

How can I edit the infotable to include this episode? Or is that something only administrators and other high clearance people can do?- B-101 00:12, 15 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Having just watched the episode, I could comment on this. But that would be an opinion, which is naturally a biased point of view, and is also completely unhelpful to the betterment of Wikipedia.

I could say this though: under "Goofs", Wikipedia states that the plackard saying "President Krusty" is wrong. Being that Krusty is a nickname, and Krustofsky, his real name, isn't on the plackard, it would probably be safe to assume that he was always known among his peers as Krusty. As such, if one wanted to try to defend The Simpsons as not having screwed up, one could call this nothing more than Springfield being unprofessional. (Which is nothing strange.) I could of course be wrong, and I'm sure that there are other people on Wikipedia who disagree with me entirely. Lisa's E-mail address[edit]

Agreed - the idea of using the word 'backslash' seems contrived. Whoever changed it could at least have suggested it on the talk page first. Reverting to how it was.--Christopher 15:32, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why is that contrived? I mean "smartgirl63_\@yahoo.com" is, as pointed out, an invalid email address. In the absence of an authoritative material saying this was meant as a joke (by the producers, etc.), the natural understanding should be "smartgirl63_backslash@yahoo.com". Unless, of course, someone has access to a copy of closed-caption or DVD subtitle text, which, if it does print it in the format of an email address (rather than spelling out @ as 'at') should settle the matter one way or another. novakyu 04:30, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The boy, introducing Lisa to the school, says "regardez." This is not a goof: normally, one child would say "regarde" to the other, but the two have never met, ergo the boy is being formal.JW 01:12, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
