"g" pronunciation[edit]

Is the "g" in "Corgi" pronounced as the g in good or as the g in germ?

Perhaps a pronunciation guide could be added to the start of the article.

Good suggestion. Done. Of course, now it makes me think that it ought to be done in *all* of the nonobvious breed pages... sigh... Elf | Talk 17:15, 21 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Miscellaneous[edit]

Could someone please elaborate on the third bullet point that discusses corgi's as being considered "Damn it dogs"? The entire comment seems rather vague. I'm not certain what these "shows" are that it refers to, nor do I understand what it means for them to think "We are corgis damn it."

Seems like nonsense to me, I just removed it. -Ravedave 04:46, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would just like to see some editing done to define which parts of the article refer to UK dogs/The Kennel Club and which refer to American (USA) dogs/The AKC. The article seems to go back and forth between the two rather vaguely. ALSO hate to think of merging the article with "Welsh Corgi". There is enough confusion with people thinking there is only one breed of Welsh Corgi without adding to it. MaryAW (talk) 06:17, 18 February 2015 (UTC)MaryAW[reply]

I know it silly. 212.129.77.93 (talk) 19:45, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted it for pointlessness and spam. Teh Flying Corgi (talk) 19:44, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Famous/well known Pembroke Welsh Corgis?[edit]

This article mentions that the British Monarchy has Pembroke Welsh Corgis, but there are other well known Corgis (some even have their own Wikipedia page like Sutter Brown. Any thoughts on adding a section or links for well known Corgis?

I agree that's a good idea 212.129.77.93 (talk) 19:43, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I think there could be more photos[edit]
