Vulnerable Native Breed[edit]

This breed is classed in Britain as a VNB - a breed which originated in the UK but now has registration numbers with the Kennel Club of less then 300 puppies per year.

I'm a Canadian teenager on a gap year before Uni and I'm really interested in this. Would anyone like a VNB paragraph/link on this page? I can write it, but am ignorant about formatting etc. Plus, I'm trying to put together a whole collection on all 29 breeds on this list, including history and so on, using Wikipedia as one of my many sources. If you can help, or are interested at all, please contact me either on my talk page or at green_ied_dragon@hotmail.com

GA review (see here for criteria)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose): b (MoS):
Appearance section and first paragraph of temperament need a little work, appearance is good, but a bit repetitive with the word Heavy. I'll give you time to work on these.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
    Very good in this regard.
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
    Images need "ALT TEXT"
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

Managed to reduce the "heavy"s in appearance down to two, and added inline citations for the first couple of lines of temperament - although I re-wrote one section so that it didn't seem like everything was coming from the same source. Miyagawa (talk) 23:35, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Played with the Temperament section a little, pruned out the dupicate information in the first and third paragraphs, and moved the hunting information in the first paragraph into the third so that its all together. Miyagawa (talk) 12:51, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
