I've long been interested in science and technology, and have spent the last few years training to be a biotechnologist. Some of my bigger interests include biotechnology, bioinformatics, evolutionary biology (specifically Human), cosmology, Mars and space exploration, as well as open source software.

Since late last year I've spent some of my spare time attempting to provide accurate, neutral information on a variety of topics on this site, providing good external links when possible. Most of my efforts lately have focused on the DragonFly BSD page, which was mostly a cut and paste job, and not very informative when I found it.

I am not proud to admit it, but I am also a Slashdot addict.
