Untitled[edit]

Any explanation for this unusually name? It suggests, of course, a chain of cystine amino acids. Does this organism produce something like this? ike9898 03:37, Feb 21, 2005 (UTC)

It would be neat, but the name really comes from many cysts, plus a Latinate suffix.

Size?[edit]

I'm missing a mention of the size of these creatures - small, yes, but how small? A rough size range (in micrometers) might be useful... --Janke | Talk 16:59, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
