Welcome[edit]

First and foremost, welcome to Wikipedia, I'm glad you're interested in contributing. Unfortunately, I just noticed that your latest article was imported from another source. If you own or have permission to use the copyright for this material, please indicate this on the talk page of your article, as well as on Wikipedia:Copyright problems. Otherwise, we can't accept it here. If you want to rewrite the article in your own words, please do so on the "/Temp" subpage of the article. Also, regardless of whether this article infringes on copyright, we welcome any other original contributions you may wish to make. Thank you, and again, welcome to Wikipedia. - Vague | Rant 10:35, Dec 29, 2004 (UTC)

Wait what are you talking about?
The list of top-grossing films you posted appears to have been copied from Yahoo.com's movies section. If you had permission to use the information you posted, please do tell us so on the article's talk page, and, as I said above, on Wikipedia:Copyright problems. If you don't own or have permission to use the copyright, then Wikipedia, unfortunately, can't use the content. - Vague | Rant 10:51, Dec 29, 2004 (UTC)

Yes this information is compiled by exhibitor relations and is free to use by anyone

The information, yes, but the manner in which Yahoo chooses to present it is owned by them, and in this case it was presented in the exact same format. - Vague | Rant 11:04, Dec 29, 2004 (UTC)
do you want me to rework the format then?
If you'd like to, on the "/Temp" page. Oh, and before I forget, if you'd like to sign your comments, you can do so by adding ~~~~ (four tildes) to the end of your comment. - Vague | Rant 11:11, Dec 29, 2004 (UTC)

Edit summary[edit]

Hello. Please provide an edit summary. Thanks and happy edits. Hyacinth 04:54, 30 Dec 2004 (UTC)

The specific unsummarized edit I noticed was Tony Kushner. However, I do not know of any way of changing an edit summary once the edit has been made (there may be one). For future edits, the policy currently reads "Always fill the summary field," though it used to be more relaxed. Hyacinth 06:35, 30 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Vandalism[edit]

re: 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake, 18:40 2 Jan 2005

Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you were just trying to experiment, then use the sandbox instead. Thank you.

Proposed deletion of Louis C. Camilleri[edit]

The article Louis C. Camilleri has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (biographies) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back. Thank you,

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
