Changes/Additions made on June 11, 2021[edit]
Hello! Thank you for allowing me to edit and add sections to this page! I made a few changes in words to make them flow nicely and be easier to understand to those not educated in the public relations/journalism field. With that same mentality, I made a few sentences that seemed long with 2 main subjects in them into 2 sentences to make the readability easier and less overwhelming. I considered making it appoint that press releases being a primary source was also included in the main section with the definition. I figured that if someone had that popular question while reading it, it is there and easily accessible without leaving the page. The addition of a "brief history" section was also put in to discuss Ivy Lee, the first to send a press release, and give a summary of what event was covered. Thank you again, feel free to fix mistakes in the section and edits that I did not catch. Savvysnowman (talk) 20:15, 11 June 2021 (UTC)
- Generally pretty good. You just need to resist editorialising (expressing an opinion). For the long explanation, see WP:WIKIVOICE. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 21:29, 11 June 2021 (UTC)
