I reversed a lot of the changes made on 3 June 2021 by Croftmire for the following reasons:
"Hogarthian" goes to "William Hogarth" anyway (I thought in such cases the Wikipedia rule was to let it automatically redirect).
"Company" with capital-C is used to make clear that it is the company mentioned in the title that is being referred to; ditto "Bank".
The UK was called Great Britain in 1710, indeed 1707–1801.
"Auditor of the Imprests" (with capital-I) is correct, as that was how proper-name phrases were capitalised in those days (and still perhaps today in the UK).
"pieces of eight" goes to "Spanish dollar" anyway.
It is not necessary to change "Gross Domestic Product" to "Gross domestic product" as traditional capitalisation is still used in the UK (I have changed the page to "Use British English", which seems appropriate).
