I notice user:Soumyasch has added a notability tag out of the blue and I deduce he is the editor expressing concern since nobody else has edited the article since January. Perhaps he should read the comments in the previous deletion request back in 2005. Nothing has changed since then apart from HTML-Kit becoming even more popular and established. I vote that the tag is deleted... Dsergeant 18:16, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is this software freeware? It asks for money on its webpage although there seems to be no restriction on using the software if you don't pay.

Build 292 is free, but a few (very few) of the extensions are only available for download if you pay and register. Build 300, currently still in development, is only available to those who have registered and it is not clear at the moment if this will change when it is fully released. Ad cleanup[edit]

I removed and edited ad-like material and removed Features Summary altogether, because it was copy from http://www.chami.com/html-kit/features/ and any way quite messy list. --Usp (talk) 07:10, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Update Needed[edit]

This page is in strong need of an update; HTML-Kit Tools (Build 300) has been released for a while now, but it's still listed as alpha. Neard 03:49, 9 August 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Neard (talkcontribs)

I must have missed the formal release. It still seems that Tools is in development with frequent updates, and I thought it was now officially Beta but it seems not. Many of us prefer the free build 292 which is very stable and works well - and doesn't need .NET. Myself I did try Tools a while back and didn't like it. Suggest you update as you feel fit, but please leave build 292 there as well as MANY will still be continuing with that. Dsergeant (talk) 06:20, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
