Don't be afraid of making the odd mistake, there are any number of others eagerly waiting for a chance to correct it! Theresa knott 15:30 18 Jun 2003 (UTC)

Hi It's me again. I was going to blank the page Symonds Yat because I found it was based on copywrite material, but user:Heron beat me to it, and has started the page afresh with a copywright free stub article. Since you come from the place, perhaps you could write a decent length article for the page ? Thanks Theresa knott 20:58 18 Jun 2003 (UTC)

Hello. You're nearly Welsh so you're all right by me! Deb 17:38 19 Jun 2003 (UTC)

Hi. re Welsh Bicknor - do you have any info about the Act in William's reign? I would be very interested to hear about this. Thanks, Morwen - Talk 15:28, 2 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Jèrriais[edit]

Mèrcie bein des fais for the message! Yes, I'm a Jèrriais speaker.

For thousands of pages in the language, see Les Pages Jèrriaises

There's info about the language and its history, mostly in English but some in French, here: Section de la langue Jèrriaise

BBC Radio Jersey re-broadcasts the weekly 5-minute news/talk on demand from its website - go to Jèrriais (BBC), click on the link for La Lettre Jèrriaise and the streaming audio can be found under "News".

Publications (books, cassettes, CD-ROM, quarterly magazine) can be purchased online from the bookshop of La Société Jersiaise. See Publyicâtions

Hope this helps. Man vyi 06:36, Oct 28, 2004 (UTC)
