I think the 1995 merger to create CBM was simply the merger of Canadian Baptist Federation and Canadian Baptist International Ministries. CBIM history is a little more complicated. It started out as Canadian Baptist Foreign Mission Board, later renamed to Canadian Baptist Overseas Missions Board (CBOMB) and finally (& only briefly) to Canadian Bapitst International Ministries before being merged with CBF into CBM. At no point was as "Home Mission" part of either CBF nor CBIM's work as BCOQ held out on mergers forcing union in foreign missions work only.
