Halifax, Nova Scotia vs. Halifax, West Yorkshire

• Maybe it's just my Canadian bias showing, but Halifax, Nova Scotia has four times the population of the Halifax in England, and is the most important city in the region. In addition, a large number of links in the "What links here" page are for the Nova Scotia city. I therefore propose we move Halifax to Halifax, England and make Halifax redirect to Halifax, Nova Scotia. Kirjtc2 4 July 2005 22:32 (UTC)

• • • Personally I have no problem with Halifax being the page for Halifax, West Yorkshire, since this is the originally named town. I'd redirect Halifax, West Yorkshire to Halifax and use the Halifax (disambiguation) page for linking to all other articles containing the word Halifax.Plasma east 20:56, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
