Mike Martin was born February 8th, 1974 in Mississauga, Ontario.

He lived in Mississauga and attended Errindale Public School until 1980 when he moved to Orono, Ontario. He attended Orono Public School until grade 6, Pines Senior Public School in Newcastle, Ontario for grade 7 and 8 and then Clarke High School until 1993. He then finished a 5 year Mechanical Engineering degree at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario. After graduation he got a full time job at an OEM auto parts manufacturer, where he still works today.
