Agh, most of this page is just a bunch of over-wrought definitions. I am going to delete some of them. - Centrx 01:41, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Use as an insult?[edit]

I've heard this used as an insult in quite a few conversations and also popular culture, and Merriam-Webster.com lists its second definition as "a person characterized by reclusive habits or outmoded or reactionary attitudes." Perhaps this merits discussion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:582:C502:CBA7:9586:5BC9:1D8B:4343 (talk) 03:06, 5 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest that belongs on Wiktionary. Dunutubble (talk) 18:56, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not to be confused with[edit]

I would like to propose moving the "Not to be confused with" Troglobite and Trilobite to the top of the page to more quickly assist in redirecting a visitor. @User:Bkonrad or others, do you have an objection to this? Dag330 (talk) 23:44, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it's standard on disambiguation pages to place homophones and similarly spelled terms in see also. The distinguish template is meant for use on articles, not disambiguation pages. olderwiser 23:51, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the explanation. Cheers! Dag330 (talk) 00:15, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Add the entry "Trog" under "Arts and fiction > Other Media". Trogs are a subspecies of human infected with a fictional disease known as Troglodyte Degeneration Contagion stemming from the Fallout games Cheeseflannel (talk) 13:19, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: This would need coverage in independent sources to demonstrate that it is noteworthy. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 16:06, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
