I'm curious. What is the source for Image:Arms14h.JPG? We need to know for legal reasons so that the image can de defined for copyright reasons. Images with unknown sources and unknown copyright status can end up being deleted in case they breach copyright law.

Also, where is this new image being used by the Vatican in preference to the tiara-less one? I much prefer the one with the tiara, BTW. I think a papal coat of arms without a tiara is hideous looking, especially one that has a triple-tiered mitre, something that is a contradiction in terms, as mitres are never triple-tiered. Slán. Untagged image[edit]

An image you uploaded, Image:Benedetto 15.jpg, was tagged with the {{coatofarms}} copyright tag. This tag was deleted because it does not actually specify the copyright status of the image. The image may need a more accurate copyright tag, or it may need to be deleted. If the image portrays a seal or emblem, it should be tagged as {{seal}}. If you have any questions, ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. -- 18:16, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading Image:MOCBanner2.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
