Surfos. Not notable enough to be verifiable. Few relevant Google links and the external link to http://www.phrite.net/surfos/ is not even working. Includes links to the user namespace and violates the don't write about yourself rule. Angela. 20:56, Aug 4, 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. Normally I'd say any separate os -no matter how uncommon- is probably notable enough to have a wikipedia article on (No kidding, those things are tough!). Unfortunately the linked page simply does not exist, and google isn't helping. Might reconsider and expand article if/when a proper link is supplied. Kim Bruning 21:28, 4 Aug 2004 (UTC)
    • comment: it's not that difficult to knock together a basic working operating system. I'd bet there are hundred of worthy but non-notable such systems languishing in CS departments the world over. --Ianb 21:41, 4 Aug 2004 (UTC)
      • re: comment: Indeed, but the actual number that is available for download or purchase is so vanishingly small (unfortunately), that there's no reason *not* to mention them. :-) Kim Bruning 07:45, 5 Aug 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. Can't find any info on this. --Ianb 21:41, 4 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. There's little/no information on this OS. -- Bobdoe 23:39, 4 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: Where to start? This is like a feast for deletionists. Vanity, non-notability, stub, placeholder for a download link...it's a jackpot of things Wikipedia is not. Geogre 00:35, 5 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Making it doesn't make it notable, making it available doesn't make it notable, it needs people to actually want to use it for it to be notable, and I can't see any suggestion of wider use. Average Earthman 13:27, 5 Aug 2004 (UTC)
