Flyby of Asteroid 2004 FH. The other object that flashes by is a meteor.

    • The object flashing by is most probably an aircraft. Since a meteor would be visible on only one frame, unless it was moving veeeery sloooowly, and this object persists for at least three frames, it cannot be that. Denni☯ 20:26, 2004 Nov 30 (UTC)

Well this is all pretty subjective, so there's no real arguing. I get the feeling that many frequent voters here need every FP to be a glisteningly high-quality shot of a Shinto temple at sundown, or equivalent. I don't know how this timelapse of Asteroid 2004 FH could be any more illustrative of its subject. Sure it would've been nice to have a camera mounted on the `roid itself, but this is the best we have and to me it's standout. JDG 21:07, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Well, for my part I just do not see this article as adding significantly, it does not show something more than a dot moving along through other dots. At 43,000km, asteroid 2004 FH is a near Earth orbit asteroid, ie. one which could wipe us all out (well actually its way too small), and asteroids are normally shown moving against a static star field.
