I perceive a difference in meaning between "Ben Arthur" and "The Cobbler". The Cobbler is a rock formation, including the summit of the mountain, and therefore applies to the summit as well, but Ben Arthur refers to the whole mountain. The situation as I see it is more or less equivalent to the names Cadair Idris (whole mountain) and Penygadair (summit). --Stemonitis 12:02, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- I made said move, been meaning to for a while: to me the whole hill is The Cobbler. It strikes me that "nobody" calls it Ben Arthur, and ought we not to be using the most common name for an article on Wikipedia? Grinner 12:31, Apr 5, 2005 (UTC)
- I call it Ben Arthur, but I'm prepared to believe I'm about the only one apart from the OS to call it that! Ah well; The Cobbler it is then. It seems strange that there sould be no picture of it yet. Every tourist must have one. --Stemonitis 12:52, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)
