Your picture[edit]

  • I noticed that somebody overwrote your picture because they were adding unnecessary pics to the Demon Hunter article (and they called their pic Ryan.jpg... theirs was probably copyvio anyway). So I tried to revert it back to the picture that you posted. It looks like it's worked. Anyways, just letting you know in case you go to your user page and see a picture there that isn't you. --Idont Havaname 00:13, 3 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

TripAdvisor article[edit]

I just wanted to post a comment that, while I agree with the removal of the content, I disagree with your reasoning for the removal.

Forums are in most cases not reliable sources because it's difficult to prove that a particular post is from an authorative/legitimate source. However, in the case of the TripAdvisor forum, the employees are clearly identified by the software under their names on the left (cannot be faked by a non-employee without hacking the system - which we have no reason to suspect is the case with this forum).

However, the text you removed did contain original research, as whoever wrote the text used the information from the forum posting as well as other observations to synthesize their own analysis that "In reality, this means that reviews are rarely taken down, meaning that an undetermined number of reviews on the site are fakes". Such a statement is original research, and had no basis for remaining in the article - so like I said, I agree with the removal, just not the reason used. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 16:20, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
