Why has the page been moved here, and not remained at the more logical British Empire which is now a redirect!? Mintguy 13:27 11 Jul 2003 (UTC)
It has been cut and paste here, all the history has been lost. Mintguy
Reverse the cut-paste operation then!
I pondered this one when it happened. Most of the article is history, and so the redir is kind of a ham-handed attempt to reflect that. It would be better to leave "what was the British Empire" answer at the main location, and just split out the long narrative of its formation. Stan 13:36 11 Jul 2003 (UTC)
