a Great Dane(?)

Yes, I checked that one carefully before I added it. Despite not looking all that much like one, the Bat-Hound Beyond is officially a Great Dane, and there's on-screen dialogue to prove it. --Paul A 06:25, 31 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Name[edit]

Does anyone think it noteworthy to include the origin of Ace's name in his DCAU incarnation, that being the deceased girl Ace of the first Royal Flush Gang from Justice League/Justice League Unlimited which Batman developed a sort of bond with too the point of staying with her until she died, a fate which she knew was coming and was afraid of.

The fact was included at some point, but was removed because it's never actually stated in the show itself. I believe it was stated by one of the show's writers to be the case, but it would need to be cited with a source to be included and not removed by well-meaning editors.2600:8804:7403:C300:28F8:ED13:C12A:6AF3 (talk) 04:49, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Fate[edit]

The article claims Ace disappeared. In No Mans Land, Oracle specifically says that there were no more dogs in Gotham - that they were all eaten in the first few weeks. Dogs are shown alive later in the series, but is the implication that Ace was killed during the early days of No Mans Land? 118.93.203.10 (talk) 01:14, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think Ace would have suffered such a fate. Lots42 (talk) 13:01, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Picture[edit]

I think we need to dig up a better picture of Ace for the 'top' picture. Sure, the first appereance is noteable but it doesn't focus on the dog. Lots42 (talk) 13:02, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
