Untitled[edit]

Right now most names are in Albanian. I plan to translate them, but should the articles (links) be in Albanian form or in the English translation (such as University of Tirana)? --Dori 10:31, 9 Sep 2003 (EDT)

Should have looked more carefully, the translations were there. I removed the duplicate names in Albanian, the links should probably be in the English form, and the translation should be in the individual articles. The list still contains the names of old institutions and the new ones that replaced them, which is why I have said past and present. Don't know if this kind of "duplication" should be left in. --Dori 10:55, 9 Sep 2003 (EDT)

33 private universities licensed in Albania in the last 7 years!!![edit]

There has been an incredible boom of Private Universities (33) in the last 7 years in Albania. I have worked on 4-5 of them, leaving it to others to keep track. --sulmues (talk) 20:51, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

UFO University, Universiteti UFO[edit]

What is or was UFO University? Apparently you can still see a billboard with this name on it in Tirana, and the UFO coffeehouse and other places take their name from it.

Apparently it stands for "universitas fabrefacta optime" (Latin for "university to forge the best" or something along those lines). I'm still curious for further information, thanks. Maikel (talk) 12:28, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
