From what I see there are other pages that contain better lists of trumpet and horn players. Possible there are already lists of trombone and tuba players. Perhaps this list should just be changed to link to these other pages. I'll look into it a bit more. Horndude77 04:42, 23 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I think these pages should somehow be merged, but I am new and don't have the expertise. There is a lot of overlap, but they each have some unique names. They do seem to each have a slightly different slant ("20th century" vs. "famous" for example), however. Perhaps that could be cleared up? Cheers, Gazza1685

As mentioned (long) before, I no longer see a need for this article. There are already articles for individuals of the instruments which overlap, and it seems senseless to maintain all of these (such as jazz trumpeters featured under List of jazz trumpeters, List of trumpeters, and this article. -- JoeTrumpet 09:22, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
