Hi there, and welcome. You better put question on the User talk pages, not on the user pages. Thus e.g. User talk:CYD instead of User:CYD. If you place the comment on the talk page the user will see the orange box you just saw to be alerted. andy 22:13, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Hi Dante -- hate to do this but there doesnt seem to be any other way to get in touch with you. Im doing a project on wikis and would like to interview you. Can you email me at dquiec@yahoo.com? Thanks - David

Hi David. Just to reiterate andy's comment above, the appropriate way to leave that message was on my talk page. I'm not chastising you and it doesn't bother me, as you're new and can't be expected to know all the ins-and-outs of Wikipedia immediately, I'm just explaining why it's taken me so long to respond... I didn't even see your message til just now, and even then, only by chance.
Also, when you're on a User page, you can select "E-mail this user" to send them an email if they have set up their account to allow this, as I have. Feel free to send me more information on your project via email or my User talk page. Thanks! --Dante Alighieri | Talk 17:48, Sep 30, 2004 (UTC)
