• Comment: Unsure. As is, it's an unwikified advertisement for a fascinating but non-notable website. The connection to the Maitreya of Buddhism seems tenuous, and the POV of the current article is painful. But is this movement notable? Their website quotes just enough history for me to think it might be, while carefully concealing the details (such as the former name of their Maitreya) which would allow us to write an NPOV article. When I was growing up in Congleton in the late 1980s there was a man who wrote each week to the local paper to identify the latest teachings of 'the Maitreya' who I assume was following this minor religion, so it does have an existence beyond the website. Actually, Maitreya is a recognized incarnation of Buddha in both the Mahayana and Vajrayana sects, at least. That would give him millions of adherents in Asia and around the world. Since he is the next, expected incarnation of Buddha, we get many crackpots claiming things in his name, his identity with Jesus, etc. Fire Star 06:50, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)
