WikiProject U.S. counties[edit]

Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Counties standards might help.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Ram-Man (talkcontribs) 05:22, October 8, 2002

Wu resigned in Aug 2011, are we just waiting till the special election in Jan 2012 to change this? Also, under Tourism just what qualifies as an "attraction"? The Columbia River Maritime Museum is a small museum by "city" standards and Fort Clatsop qualifies as an attraction that likely has national awareness but this neglects other features likely to be known to the world at large like the end of the Lewis and Clark national hiking trail and the western end of the TransAmerica Trail for bicycles as well as The Goonies filming location (among many other films) in favor of mentioning locations that probably only benefit from the proximity to the beach and Portland/Salem as well as ignoring tourism events like the Hood to Coast marathon, Fisher Poets fest or similar. Not trying to be a jerk but I doubt "Uppertown" Astoria has any play outside of Astoria much less a national or world attraction for it's firefighter museum or 2.5 mile trolley line... I mean, not even a mention of the Column? Odd... Can I change this w/o ticking folks off? 174.25.26.232 (talk) 06:30, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
