Talk:Bluetooth sniping

The previous version of this page claimed that a "modified sniper rifle" is used. This seems highly unlikely, and a glance at http://trifinite.org/trifinite_stuff_lds.html doesn't show anything of the sort. So I've removed it. --Pete

Not sure, because I can't find it now, but I believe a little while back I saw somthing about that posted on slashdot. I remember some guy had done this bluetooth sniping expirement again, but with different equipment. His site had a picture of the device he used, and it did look like a modified sniper rifle. Anyone know what I'm talking about? --69.139.96.74

Found it. And here is the slashdot article. Taking a closer look now, I can see that, no, the device is not really modified sniper rifle. But I'll bet that it is what the author was thinking of when he wrote that they used a "modified sniper rifle." --69.139.96.74
