On the German WP it says that he joined the KM on am 16 April 1894, which would make him 18 and not 15 as it says in this article. BoH 08:35, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]


Hi, for what i have read Kaiser William 2nd indeed prohibited the bombing of civilian targets, and of national monuments in England, especially London - there's some propaganda e.g. in the film Hell's Angels where the Zepp crew wants to bomb Trafalgar square, which is plain wrong. Strasser agreed to not attack those targets listed by William 2nd, but he certainly knew that exact bombing by plane or Zeppelin with navigation errors, wind and drift was not really possible at that time. Agreed targets were chemical factories, plants, all military installations - and the Bank of England. There is however no doubt that hundreds of civilians died, along with women and children. Following the logic of the BPB propaganda, the Zeppelins were then called the "baby killers". I think we should not (yet) change the article until there is some real evidence whether the Kaiser's position regarding civilian targets as allowed, has changed later in the war (?) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.15.163.29 (talk) 10:23, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
