http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiny_Basic Tiny B.a.s.i.c. is a set of computer tools that started the software writing (programming) business.Any software written in Tiny basic language could be copyrighted.Books were written that contained programs that are still in use today because the electronic means used to execute,(run) those programs hasn't changed at all. Few if any programmers actually copyrighted their software in those days but those that did were true visionaries considering the fact that computers are a large part of life today.

Welcome[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia; it's a good thing we get more contributors who are interested in the history of the computer industry. :-) Just a little sour grape: your edit to the Tiny BASIC article may be somewhat controversial, and as such will probably be subject to discussion possibly resulting in its removal or heavy editing. This is just the way Wikipedia works, of course, and shouldn't induce any hard feelings---we all experience it from time to time. Thus, be bold all the same! --Wernher 11:37, 7 Apr 2005 (UTC)
