I pulled this material from the article:

While the parodies following tended to play off specific plot incidents (generally from the more universally seen TV cartoon), ARBBH began with an introduction that was a loose play on the TMNT origin, after which it pretty much took its own path.

It's probably good material but the comment other parodies doesn't necessarily belong in this article. The material I pulled needs some rewrite, but I can't figure out how to improve it.

I disagree about it being good material. Namely, most of the TMNT parodies and knockoffs came (and went) before the TMNT cartoon hit the air. Geriatric Gerbils, Kung Fu Koalas, etc etc etc.99.149.164.211 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 03:29, 4 November 2009 (UTC).[reply]

Does this add anything?[edit]

The art and writing is described either as independent or hard to follow.

I've never heard it described that way. I was a big fan of the book at the time it was being published. I could see how some people would say that, but I'm not sure it belongs here.

The sentence doesn't really mean anything to me; what does it mean to describe art or writing as 'independent'? I'm dropping it. ike9898 20:40, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removed link[edit]

I removed the link for the phrase "parody of a parody." Someone had it hyperlinked to the article about the film Inception, which is obviously more of a joke than it is related reading. — Preceding unsigned comment added by -, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
