untitled[edit]

The second paragraph is a little muddy (and may be unnecessary). It refers to the Cleveland Street Scandal in a rather reverse manner. In addition, the adverbial phrase "as were many aristocrats of the time" is rather dangling, without a clear object. (Apparently it is intended to refer to "threatened").

The paragraph in question begins: "The solicitor of Lord Arthur Somerset threatened to implicate Prince Albert Victor in an 1889 scandal involving a rentboy brothel in Cleveland Street (see Cleveland Street Scandal), as were many aristocrats of the time. ..."

THe second paragraph needs to be taken out or relocated. A 100 year plus old reference would be more appropriate if it were an antiquated term.

The second paragraph is also directly contradicted in the article on Prince Albert VictorFat Red 02:31, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In light of the above, I'll just delete the second paragraph.Sumergocognito 03:00, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
