Balanced Rock (left)

In my opinion this image is of higher quality, although the balanced rock is not in the center of the image. On the other hand this shows more context. Crop it, leave it or toss it? I took the image during a visit at the park in April'04 during sunset, hence the vivid colors. --Dschwen 02:09, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)

The 3000x2000 pic was bigger alright, but it was very blurry (quality just didn't justify the size). I replaced it with this one from the discussion page since I think it is sharper and gives a better sense of proportions. --Dschwen 11:36, 7 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Size of the rock[edit]

What is "the size of three school buses"? Is there a source somewhere that gives the size in some actual units? Ntsimp (talk) 03:39, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation[edit]

This article and another called Balancing Rocks refer to specific geologic formations. However, there are at least several dozen such formations around the world that go by similar names. I propose we have a single article under the title of "Balancing Rocks" that describes the geological, cultural and historical nature of these formations in general and lists all of the formations in a single article. Unless someone objects or has a better idea, I'll create an initial version of this new format soon. Lexaxis7 (talk) 20:45, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Redundancy[edit]

This article is rather redundant, it states that it's "the size of three school buses" twice in the article. Maybe change it and give it in feet and meters? NovaSilisko (talk) 19:42, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Citation [1][edit]

This citation literally references this selfsame page... What? Adeeta (talk) 21:28, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
