Inspiration for "Holy Mother"[edit]
Eric Clapton just posted on his Facebook account that he was inspired to write "Holy Mother" after viewing Purple Rain. (If the film was released in Canada on the same date it was released in the U.S., then perhaps Clapton viewed it during, or immediately following, Roger Waters's 1984 North American tour in support of The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking.) --71.183.137.40 (talk) 04:52, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
