Untitled[edit]

"...caused it to become known as "the Windsor of the North" An unlikely style of comparison before the 19th century. Who called it "the Windsor of the North"? --Wetman 04:13, 10 Apr 2005 (UTC)

This claim doesn't appear in the English Heritage guidebook and i agree it seems unlikely, so I got rid of it as part of a general re-write. Also dropped "destroyed in the Civil War" as the guidebook says it saw no action - though it could well have been slighted after the war - and the claim taht Warwick improved it - his father did most of the building, and it's not clear whether the final additions were by Warwick or Gloucester.
