Hi Amdg175, and welcome to Wikipedia.

Thankyou for finding the time to sign up and contribute to our little project. If you're in doubt about anything, you might want to check out some of these pages:

It's also a good idea to sign the new user log and add a little about yourself.

When contributing to a talk page, you can sign your name by typing four tildes after your comments, like this: ~~~~. Some people do not pay attention to unsigned comments. An important note: Please do not add this signature to encyclopedia articles you may edit, even if you have created them. Wikipedia articles are owned by the community, not by any one person.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me at my talk page, or at the Help desk or Village Pump.

But above all, make sure you be bold when contributing, and have fun!

Don't spam. This is your final warning. CryptoDerk 00:07, Feb 12, 2005 (UTC)

You are blocked for 2 days. If you wanted to insert your link after I warned you, you should have at the very least asked me WHY I considered them not relevant instead of inserting them after I gave you a final warning. In general Wikipedia has links to websites that are highly informative or offer some content on the subject that Wikipedia doesn't have or which isn't appropriate for the format of an encyclopedia, such as interviews. Your link goes to a page that has no content aside from banner adds and copyrighted images. The rest of the site is poorly designed and contains little information. This site isn't anywhere near the same level of boxrec, which contains thousands of fighters and results from each of their fights. With your contributions mainly consisting of inserting this link, it seems as if this is your only agenda – to insert a link to this site. If you do it again, I will block you permanently. Keep adding that link to Mike Tyson, and I will keep reverting you. It's getting slightly sad, to be honest. sjorford →•← 22:36, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

BLP edit warning[edit]

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Peter North. Adding such text at a point in the article which incorrectly indicates that a claim is supported by a cited reference may be treated as vandalism, and may lead to loss of editing privileges Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 22:29, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
