Professional librarian with 26 years experience in public, university, and secondary school libraries. MLS (Master of Library Science) Dec. 1980, University of Oklahoma (Norman, Okla., USA). BS Secondary Education, May 1975, Oklahoma State University (Stillwater, Okla., USA). Have taught college courses in: Selection of library materials; Young adult literature. Have done workshops/panel presentations on: Subject headings for children and young adults; Censorship; Reference interviewing; Library use intruction. Co-edited newsletter for state library organization for a few years. Recently scored application packets of school librarians applying for certification by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (USA).

Currently reside in Okmulgee (south of Tulsa), Oklahoma, USA, and work with young adults, ages 14 to 18.
