Hi, I'm a software developer from London UK. Currently out of work, but that's mainly 'cos I'm not looking! Fortunately I've a bit of money saved so I can spend more time on doing things I want to do instead of what 'The Man' tells me to do :-).

Things I want to do instead of being told what to do:

• Visiting family and friends
• Learning new programming technologies (yep, my work is also my hobby!)
• Designing and developing my own software projects.

I've already done a few small edits anonymously (small fact corrections, reverting some vandalism).

Wikipedia is an amazing community. From one perspective it looks like a model of order, but from another it seems to be teetering on the brink of anarchy (but I guess that's what happens in an anonymous and consequence-free environment).

Hopefully, in time, I will be able to make contributions of a more sizeable nature.
