The current version of the South Holland template is:

• Template:South Holland Province m - with collection of map links based on coordinates
  • Template:Province South Holland m redirects to this version

Older versions are the following:

• Template:South Holland Province provides a link to a MapQuest map of the place, based on PAGENAME, as well as the whole set of links for the province in general
  • Template:Province South Holland redirects to this version
  • Template:Province South Holland p and Template:Province South Holland p, called with one parameter, ditto
  • Template:Province South Holland 2p and Template:Province South Holland 2p, called with two parameters, ditto
• Template:South Holland Province 3p - called with three parameters, but currently only the third are used: the MapQuest search item if the pagename is not suitable. This applies in the following cases:
  • municipality names with spaces
  • municipality names which are different in Dutch
  • municipality names with a disambiguation such as "(Netherlands)" or "(South Holland)"

The third parameter is the Dutch name of the municipality with + for every space, without disambiguation.

In the case of Valkenburg (South Holland) Mapquest presents the choice between two towns named Valkenburg. A direct link is http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?country=NL&zipcode=2235 (using postal code). There has been another version of the template allowing this, but that has been superseded by the latest version, mentioned at the top.
