i see Lir's been at it again... English names in the English Wikipedia - what part of that is hard to understand?

It's also just plain wrong in this case. Germany existed long before the Bundesrepublik because Germany is the country whereas the Bundesrepublik is the nation state which currently runs things in Germany. It's like the difference between Britain and the United Kingdom. She should have renamed the article to Deutschland if she wanted to use the German name for Germany.
