Deletion of Æther Realm band page[edit]

Æther Realm page was deleted due to: "does not credibly indicate the importance or significance". I had provided links to sources that demonstrate (a) the band had professionally produced 2 full-length albums, (b) the 2nd of which was voted album of the year by multiple members of an esteemed arbiter of the genre. I also stated that the band had been on a real global tour with a band considered important/significant, whom I linked to, and that they had headlined a music festival (were well-known enough to do so). I believe this covers both "credibility" and "significance" required by Wikipedia:Credible claim of significance. Other suggestions appreciated. - Galtenberg (talk)

  • Ah, the conflict between "claim of significance" and evidence thereof. Shirt58 and I feel there was insufficient evidence of notability. Feel free to re-submit via AfC but do try and provide better references. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 02:04, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Æther Realm[edit]

Hello Galtenberg,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Æther Realm for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
