Stations?[edit]

What cities did this railroad connect? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.180.182.145 (talk) 11:37, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WWII?[edit]

I am amazed to see the complete lack of discussion here as to the role the Railway played in the origins of the Second Sino-Japanese War. The South Manchuria Railway, the tiny stretch of Japanese territory along it, the largely autonomous Kwantung Army, and the security concerns of both that Army and officials in Tokyo, were the crucial initiating factors in the Japanese invasion of Manchuria. A "see also" section with no explanation is not sufficient. LordAmeth 13:04, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disposition[edit]

This article needs information about what happened to the line(s) after 1945. What company took them over, and are they still in use? --NE2 16:59, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I partially answered my own question - the main/only line is now the Harbin-Dalian railway of China Railways. --NE2 17:12, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
