Untitled[edit]

From Aukrust (vfd candidate) Aukrust is a Norwegian family, originally from Lom. One line settled in Alvdal in the beginning of the 20th century. The family was first mentioned in a document from 29 June 1367, and the family still keep the farms. The original farm has been separated into three: Sygard (south-farm), Nordgard (north-farm) and Nørdre (northern). Nørdre was separated from Nordgard in 1821. It is not known when Sygard was separated. Olav Aukrust, Pål Aukrust and Lars, father of Kjell Aukrust, were born at Nordgard. --VivaEmilyDavies 22:49, 3 Mar 2005 (UTC)
