Rickbender1940, on 21 April you changed the page Romance novel from a redirect to Romantic fiction into the sentence "The earliest romantic novels in English appeared during the 18th century including classic literary works such as Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights and Anne of Green Gables". I'm assuming you did this in good faith, but I have to ask if you were quite serious. None of these books are 18th century works. Anne of Green Gables is a children's book published in 1908.
