Disgusting usage of Wikipedia as Yellowpages (unsigned additions by Avala @ 20:25, May 21, 2004)

  • Avala, I've consolidated your additions into one debate, since they are of the same ilk and you had the exact same deletion reason for each. Voters are asked to consider them on a case-by-case basis. --Ben Brockert 23:11, May 21, 2004 (UTC)

From Wikipedia:Deletion log:

  • 23:29, 21 May 2004 Guanaco deleted "Hong Kong Shau Kei Wan Judo Club" (contact info/unsalvageable advert on non-famous business)
  • 23:29, 21 May 2004 Guanaco deleted "Hing Tung Shopping Centre" (useless source info/unsalvageable advert on non-famous business)
  • 23:28, 21 May 2004 Guanaco deleted "Oi Tung Shopping Centre" (source info/unsalvageable advert on a non-famous business)
  • 23:26, 21 May 2004 Guanaco deleted "Island East Sports Centre" (unsalvageable advert for some non-famous business)

As such, I've removed them from the debate. --Ben Brockert 23:37, May 21, 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. The same valid argumentation (useless source info/unsalvageable advert on non-famous business) can be applied to the last remaining entry. Thue 00:33, 22 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
    • Apparently there's some debate on the validity of the argument. --Ben Brockert 18:33, May 22, 2004 (UTC)
      • Regarding the above, I would agree with deletion in these cases, but NOT speedy deletion. Meelar 19:50, 23 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - not an article and not likely to be one - Tεxτurε 02:53, 24 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
