Talk:Transhumanism[edit]

I agree w some of your basic points, but want to caution you to avoid being overly provocative, or saying anything resembling a Wikipedia:No personal attacks. Samspade, thank you kind Sir for providing your thoughts, help and concern. I will do my best to follow the rules and not make personal insults. I need you to come into play on transhumanism talk, as it looks like we finally hit a brick wall with loremaster as the hand he has been playing has been called out, but now he is being crabby and will not respond to me since I reduced his cards to semi-transparency. We have discovered that his version of transhumanism is mostly of quality, but the political agenda of it stinks to high heaven as bunk, excusatory, biased and agenda laden political nonsense. The Transhumanism article needs liberation from its political and pseudoscientific bias, regardless and despite the fact it is a quality article for the most part. It needs political cleaning, we need other people to step in and I need you to come in as a neutral judge to call this out. It would be nice if others did too, but I know those kinds of people are few and far between.

Transhumanism is about over coming human limitations using science and technology, you can even read the first paragraph on the article to see the intro definition I modified on the article which still stands today. The problem with the transhuman article is loremaster thinks eugenics, racism, racialism etc.. are not elements encompassed by transhumanism based on his claims that these elements are not humanistic and - even - not scientifically sound. He is obviously wrong; people should have the freedom of association and the right to choose their exclusive communities, friends, associates, breeding partners and politics. I don’t want to live under loremasters totalitarian transhuman regime.

We need a regime change. One that embraces freedom, not dogma.

If a group of jews, blacks, chinese, whites, greens, browns, yellows or reds, want to unite together and exclude others, practice exclusive selective breeding as they wish to become a vector toward something greater than themselves, they have the right to call themselves whatever they want whether: Black Transhumanists, Jewish Transhumanists etc…. While the WTA and extropy move into the minority of popularity. Stormfront.org has become a powerful ally in recruiting members for the cosmotheist transhumanist movement, and I dont think they should have the final say either if someday they (storm troopers) decide the WTA or Extropy are disputed Transhumanist movements. Heck NO! Stormfronters have no right to do this, just as much as loremaster has no right to say who isn’t a transhuman or call them disputed. I want a transhumanist movement that accepts all vectors, all variations, all view points, as long as they are about overcoming human limitations towards "better" and "higher' quality of life and existence. Higher evolution is not going to travel along one vector, but many vectors – this is the point that seems to be elusive for loremaster. This is loremasters brick wall that we finally hit. He answered my questions until we discovered the hand he is playing – an agenda. And for the record: Regardless, this goes for absolutely everyone, I sure as heck dont want transopianism (transtopia.org), prometheism, cosmotheism and futuregenerations (eugenics.net) which are the most popular and active transhuman group ultimately deciding what is and what is not transhumanism, just as much as I wouldn’t want the WTA or Extropy having the final say.

Despite the fact WTA throws these expensive conferences which attract small numbers, has its own blogs, articles etc… they are not the most popular, common, representative or dominating groups. Transhumanism is small movement of mostly cheerleaders on the sidelines waving their pom poms for future technologies, most of the movement is in the bleachers cheering, while most non-transhumanist scientists oblivious to the big picture do all the hard work. Directed higher evolution is what it’s all about, no one can say they or anyone aren’t transhumans because they disagree with their politics or views. Thus if people want to use racist genetic engineering as a means of being an elitist vector and transhuman group, no one has the right to say other wise or call them disputed. No one has the right to say they arent transhumanists - especially loremaster and his sidekick slimvirgin..

If a group of Jewish transhumanists, want to create an exclusive organization for jews which excludes non jews, and these same jews only want to enhance themselves using gene combinations commonly found in the jewish genepool, no one has the right to say they arent transhumanists or call them disputed transhumanists, just because they exclude non-jews. Exclusive separatist and racist genetic engineering which will be practiced by all races, religions and groups in the future, have the right to do it and no one is allowed to say otherwise. No one has the right to say they arent transhumanists - especially loremaster and his sidekick slimvirgin.

I have no personal insults or attacks against loremaster, I actually consider him a mildly intelligent person. I put him in the 120 to 130 IQ range. It is just that his political agenda comes through, it’s biased and wrong. He makes it seem like he is making a concession allowing these "disputed" transhumanist web sites to exist, but the "disputed" statement is a bunch of political non-sense. These organizations are 100% transhumanism all the way and actually considering I follow the transhumanist movement closely, I have noticed that the discussion forums of these groups are bigger, more active and growing faster than Extropy and wta combined. Doesn’t mean majority should rule.

What we need is a transhumanism article that isn’t biased with loremasters agenda, which involves throwing the “disputed” a bone. Those groups deserve full equality as transhumanist organizations. Dariodario 09:52, 21 Feb 2005 (UTC)

SlimVirgins Agenda[edit]

After carefully reading the contributions and additions slimvirgin has made on wikipedia, I have a precise and clear understanding of her religious affliation, gender, sexual orientation and political agenda. It is no surprise she has made an effort to censor prometheism as a current in transhumanism as prometheism represents something she doesnt like thus she made an effort to delete and censor it. She is neurotic, frustrated, immature and childish as an observation, not a personal insult or attack. A personal attack would be me using insults against her, not describing her personality traits which are preventing wikipedia from having quality information she does not like. She has an agenda and it shows.
