Cleanup - Help make unreadable articles readable.

Requests - Wanted on WP, but hasn't been created.

Merge - Combining duplicate articles into one.

Wikiprojects - So many to join, so many to choose from...Take your pick!

Re: sophomoric kanchos[edit]

Perhaps I shouldn't have said "obscure", but that's how the word appeared to me, because I've never heard it used and it wasn't in my dictionary... :)

Now that I've looked it up in a bigger dictionary, I accept that "sophomoric" is a common word in America, and so it is doubtless well-known in countries where American English is taught. However, as it's very rare in other English-speaking countries (to the extent that it gets left out of dictionaries), it's probably best to avoid it, because there are alternatives that mean the same thing and are more widely understood.

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when.
