POV?[edit]

"the Soviet Union's *dictator* Joseph Stalin,"

Do you know anyone who wouldn't agree that Joseph Stalin was a dictator? If he wasn't a dictator, then no one ever was.

Hmm, I think he used the title "Generalissimus", or "The peoples commisar for defence", but he was a dictator, no question about it

The constitution he wrote for the USSR in 1936 refers to the state as a "dictatorship" in the beginning of the document. Helpful? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.149.54.90 (talk) 10:46, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

His birthdate[edit]

Does anyone know which calendar March 13, 1913 as his birthday applies, Julian or Gregorian? This is important as Russia still used Julian calendar when he was born.--Jusjih 17:03, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Translation into English?[edit]

Does anybody know are there any translation of Michalkov`s poetry into English (or German)? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.201.75.7 (talk) 15:32, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral[edit]

Although Mikhalkov wrote several sets of lyrics for the anthem for different regimes, please note that expressions such as “pliable old hack” are non-encyclopaedic and should not be in the article. 12.201.7.201 (talk) 16:29, 9 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
